First: A student registered at another university who wishes to register at King Abdulaziz University (KAU) as a visiting student for one semester

graduate students registered in other universities (inside or outside the Kingdom) can register at KAU for one or more semesters as a visiting student, according to the following procedure:

King Abdulaziz University is officially addressed by the university in which the student is currently registered, through the official party responsible for registering the student (Deanship of Graduate Studies or Deanship of Admission and Registration), provided that the other university determines the courses that the student wants to study at , KAU taking into account the following:

To be determined according to the course codes and study plans of King Abdulaziz University.

That the total credit hours of the credits completed at King Abdulaziz University does not exceed 30% of the total credits of the student’s program at the university of origin.

The required courses are offered at King Abdulaziz University in the specified semester.

The university in which the student is registered must be accredited.

When the department and faculty at King Abdulaziz University accept the request for a visiting student, the procedure is as follows::

KAU registers the visiting student with a university number for a semester.

KAU officially sends a transcript of the results of the visiting student to the student’s university of origin at the end of the semester.

A visiting student is not considered a transfer student at .KAU

The student must apply to KAU at least one month before the start of the study.

Second: A student registered at King Abdulaziz University who wishes to register at another university as a visiting student must

specify the name of the other university with reasons for studying some courses at that university

attend the courses at the university.

In addition:

The faculty department determines the courses equivalent to those to be studied at the other university.

The faculty addresses the Deanship of Graduate Studies.
 

The Deanship of Graduate Studies at King Abdulaziz University addresses the Deanship of Graduate Studies of the other university to officially register the student in it.


Upon completing the courses and receiving official transcripts the courses are added to the student’s record as pass/fail(NF,NP).

Courses studied at another university are not included in the student's cumulative average

The student must submit the application at least one month prior to the start of the study.
