Admission requirements for
non-Saudi applicants residing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
These are the admission requirements for non-Saudi applicants
residing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The applicant must:
1.have a university degree from a recognized university, and all
documents must be approved by the Saudi embassy (the cultural
attaché) in the country of origin or the country where the degree
was earned (the attaché will be addressed to verify the validity of
the qualification).
2.have a grade average not less than Very Good.
3.not be older than 35 for the Master’s programs and not be older
than 40 for the Ph. D. programs
4.submit two recommendations from professors who have taught the
student previously.
5.Meet the general aptitude test requirement for university
graduates with a minimum score of (65).
6.fulfill the English language requirement, with the exception of
those who have obtained degrees from an English-speaking university
(USA - U). The Department of Arabic Language and the Department of Sharia and Islamic Studies are also exempted.
7.be a regular resident of the Kingdom (if employed, he must bring
the approval of the employer certified by the Chamber of Commerce
for the master's, and a sabbatical from the employer for the
doctoral degree).
8.understand that admission for health majors is not available
(medicine, dentistry, applied medical sciences, pharmacy, nursing,
etc.)
9.understand that students of the Gulf Cooperation Council will be
treated as Saudi students in terms of admission, but they are not
allowed to apply for health programs (medicine, dentistry, applied
medical sciences, pharmacy, nursing and others).
10.for applicants from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, have
an application number that matches the application number of the
National Center for Assessment and Evaluation.
General Notes:
1.The application should be within the specified admission period
for Saudi students and non-Saudis (residing inside the Kingdom)
2.The application must be made electronically through the website of
the Deanship
