Abstract : The current study discovers the Safawi influence in the era of Shah Great Abbass in the Arabic Gulf during the period (996-1038H/1587-1628) discussed by few researchers through a transient and in-depth look. The study follows the analytical historical methodology depending on few rare documents. The study began with an introductory forward about the Safawi state in Shah Great Abbasss era, and how it was established, in addition to any Islamic and political violations committed for the purpose of establishing the state. The current study composes of three chapters: the preliminary chapter which discusses the establishment of the Safawi state, a list of shahs governing the Safawi state, an introduction to the Safawi thought, the conflicts taken place between the Shahs for the Safawi authority. The first chapter composes of two themes, the first one covers the situations of the Safawi state, an introduction to the Shah Great Abbass, his behavior, ethics, his state influence, parish “nationals”, how to put an administration and government system in his era in which army is enhanced to invade the surrounding Sunni state, then the wars in which he entered with the Othmani state. The second theme covers the research of the regenerative thought and Safawi influence in the era of the Shah Great Abbass, the religious conflicts of Great Abbass, discussing the rule of Shah Abbass, and how the Safawi Shiite expansion took place in the Gulf. The second theme covers the Safawi influence in the era of Shah Great Abbass, and this chapter was divided into two themes. The first one is about the regional alliances in the era of Shah Great Abbass, the political aspects in his rule period, relationships between the Safawi and Othmani state, conflicts on the countries that are in the eastern side, Safawi influence in the Arabic Gulf and conflicts between the two Othmani and Safawis states to takeover the Gulf states emirates, opening the Ihsa, Gatif, by Safawies, takeover on Bahrain in addition to the role of Portuguese, and the establishment and end of Safawi rule in Bahrain. The third chapter covers two themes, the first one discusses the Iranian Safawi relationships. And after the end of the Safawi state, Iran considered the Shiite doctrine after leaving the Sunni doctrine by the Safawi state, in addition to the justifications behind this shift, nevertheless, the efforts exerted by the Sunni scientists to fight this stray doctrine, appearance of Shiite scientists among the Arabs, the massacres committed by Safawis ( pretended to be of mercy, then practice onslaught through their militias “sea meat eaters”) The second theme disuses the Shiite expansion in the modern era in the Arabic Gulf and the east, the Persian Safawi project, and the Irag government point of view bout the Shiite doctrine. The second chapter covers the conclusion, results, recommendations, references, annexes and the obstacles the researcher faces to complete this study.
