The study aims also, to find out the most common dimensions of the need for cognition and styles of thinking among the sample of study and find out the differences between the average marks of need for cognition and styles of thinking among the credits system and semester system students. The total sample was 323 female student ( credit system 173- semester 150) and the researcher used two methods for this study, the first one is The need for cognition (Cacioppo, Petty, & Kao, 1984) translated by NabeelZayed (2009), and the second is The Styles of Thinking ( Allen F. It was noticed that the sample of students is characterized by Flat Profiling based on the following order: the analytical thinking, pragmatic thinking, idealistic thinking, realistic thinking, synthetic thinking. The results also clarified that there are no differences with statistical significance of average remarks of styles of thinking and the need for cognition between credits students and semester students. The result showed statistical differences between the average of confident cognition dimension between secondary stage students (semester and credits system) for the benefits of credits education system, also, there were not statistical differences between the average marks of the two dimensions of the need for cognition between semester systems students and credits syste
