This research is a study and investigation of a part from "Explanation of the Aljamie Alkabir" by Imam Abi Nasr Ahmed bin Muhammad bin Omar Al-Atabi Al-Bukhari may God have mercy on him (died 586 AH) from the beginning of the (company book) to the end of (the criminal book).
The importance of this research lies in the fact that it is an explanation of one of the books of the apparent meaning of the narrator, which is relied upon in the Hanafi school of thought, which is “Al-Jami’ Al-Kabeer” by Imam Muhammad bin Al-Hassan Al-Shaibani (died 189 AH). In addition to the status of the authors of the text and explanation.
This thesis includes an introduction and two parts.
I explained in the introduction: the reasons for choosing the topic, the difficulties of the investigation, the plan and methodology of the research, the description of the handwritten copies, and thanks to everyone who helped me.
I made the first section of the study, and it has three chapters.
Chapter One: Introducing the author of the text, Imam Muhammad ibn al-Hasan al-Shaibani
The second chapter: Introducing the author of the explanation, Imam Abi Nasr Ahmed bin Muhammad bin Omar Al-Atabi, may God have mercy on him
Chapter Three: Explanation of the investigation methodology and transcription of the manuscript. The second section: Investigation. It included the following books in succession: The Company Book, the Wills Book, the Offices Book, the Preemption Book, the Agency Book, the Rental Book, the Transfer Book, the Criminal Book, and each book contained several chapters.
I was keen to produce the aforementioned part close to the image intended by the author, relying on three copies, and exerting great efforts.
Effort was made in the interview between them, and the transmitted and sayings were documented from reliable sources as much as possible, and the verses were attributed, the hadiths came out, and the thesis concluded with scientific indexes! To complete the benefit, and to facilitate those who wanted to refer to the contents of the thesis. And this thesis concluded: The validity of the attribution of this explanation to Imam Al-Atabi, and that Imam Al-Atabi was not only an explanation of it, but he branched out in issues, and mentioned the causes of rulings, which increased the scientific value of the book.
Among the most important recommendations in this thesis: the importance of highlighting such valuable literature for students of knowledge; So that the efforts of scholars about whom little was known, such as Imam Al-Atabi, would come out and appear, so that they could be benefited and benefited from.
