Abstract : This study aimed at determining the factorial structure of the happiness feeling concept. It also aimed at measuring the general level of happiness feeling among students of Women's College of Education; recognizing the relation type between happiness and some personal traits (Ascendancy, Responsibility, Sociability and Emotional stability) ; and determining the personal traits that contribute most to happiness feeling among the students of this college . A random sample was selected for the study of (600) subjects among the students of Women's College of Education in Jeddah. The ages of the subject students varied between (18-23) years old, with an average age (20,80). The hypotheses were verified by using the following instruments : Happiness Measure For Female prepared by the researcher, Gordon's Personal Profile Measure stated by Gordon (1973) – translated by Gabir Abd El Hameed and Fuaad Abo Hattab. It measures the following traits : (Ascendancy, Responsibility, Sociability and Emotional stability). The most important conclusions resulted from this study are the following : - The attributes forming happiness are embodied under a general factor that includes all the constituents of happiness including: (Optimism, Satisfaction, High positive feeling against Low negative feeling, Relation between the individual and others, Individual's relation with him/herself, Body health, Spare time activities, and Individual's relation with his God) . - Besides, the conclusions showed that general level of happiness among students of Women's College of Education is low . - The conclusions found that there is an interconnection, positive, indicative relation between happiness and each personality trait in the study: (Ascendancy, Responsibility, Sociability and Emotional stability). - The Multiple Descending Analysis showed that the most of contributive trait in happiness among students of Women's College Education is the trait of Emotional stability .
