Abstract : This study addresses the types of tribulations in Mecca during the Mamluk period (667 AH -923 AH / 1268 AH / 1517 AD ), including political disorder that occurred between Al-Ahsraf of Mecca, conflicts between the Bedouins, mesmerized convoys of pilgrims, and exposure of Mecca to many of the attacks. Sources tell us that these disturbances and conflicts did happen in that period. Also, this study addresses the types of natural disasters took place in Mecca during the Mamluk period and the damage resulted, and the role of the state and the general public to reduce their effects. Tables have also been put to illustrate and show these types of disasters and its sizes, referring to a large number of historical sources and some recent studies. The findings of this study is that Mecca was negatively affected by those disorders and disasters, which left a bad effect on the society of Mecca and caused deterioration of the security situation and the standard of living. The impact of those disasters affected humans, animals and plants. Also, caused an extensive damage to Haram Al-Makki and urban life. To counter those disorders and Disasters State stood in the face of these trail and assaults. Protection methods of Hajj from looting and robbery, have been made to help those affected by such disasters, and in the case of drought State worked on the distribution of grain to the affected areas, and canceled some of the tolls. However; some of public have resorted to prayer and supplication to God to relieve these calamities. The political strife in Mecca adverse impact has led to insecurity and instability and deteriorating economic conditions, as well as increased price and cost of goods. Orban mesmerizing led to insecurity on roads and spread terror among pilgrims who suffered from a lot of hardships because of attacks and looting them. There were unstable conditions in Mecca resulted in the strife between the Princes and the Hajj caravans. Natural disasters also left a significant impact, as a result of epidemics including many effects cure plagues significant decrease in population, which affected the dynamics of the market and high prices. And the impact of high prices on the overall situation of the State، security، and Asperger-markets for looting and degradation of the trade and the spread of epidemics. Floods in Mecca caused damage to crops and destroyed many of the facilities in addition to the loss of human lives and livestock. Lightning caused damage in Makkah، and claimed the lives of some people.
