Abstract : The present study has aimed at exploring the possibility of predicting psychological resilience and optimism through spiritual intelligence for a sample of female students at King Abdulaziz University. In addition, it has sought to identify the differences existing among the participants resulting from changing the demographic variables of the study; namely, the students’ academic specialization and social status. The sample consists of (612) of female students at King Abdulaziz University. The researcher has used the spiritual intelligence scale proposed by Bushra Ismael (2016), the psychological resilience measure proposed by Badr al-Ansari (2002), and the optimism scale proposed by Eman Sarmeni (2015). The study has adopted the comparative predictive descriptive research method and used several statistical tools such as Simple Regression Analysis, and T-Test to analyze two independent samples. The study has reached several results. It has found that it is possible to predict spiritual intelligence through psychological resilience and optimism. The results have also revealed that there are statistically significant differences in spiritual intelligence among the students attributed to the variables of academic specialization and social status in favor of literary specializations and married students. It has also found that there are statistically significant differences in psychological resilience attributed to the variable of social status in favor of the married students. The results have also unveiled that there are statistically significant differences in optimism attributed to the variables of academic specialization, social status in favor of literary specializations and married students.
