Abstract : The main aim of this study was to identify English language needs for the staff of the presidency of the Holy mosque affairs in Makkah. This study adopted mixed method approach to reach its purposes. Quantitative data collection method was questionnaire, while the qualitative data collection method was interview. SPSS was the quantitative data analysis method, while thematic analysis was the qualitative data analysis methods. Findings highlighted listening and speaking were the most important skills and reading was less important. Difficulties embodied in lack of English, accents, and understanding religious terms and phrases. Also, English is very important to effectively perform their jobs. The study recommends a course design framework that fulfills participants needs.
