This study aims to highlight the efforts of Sheikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah in his criticism and opposition to the evidence of the violators. The researcher divided them into an introduction, four chapters, and a conclusion, the preface, in which he spoke about the definition of Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may God have mercy on him, and the concept and types of opposition, and the definition of the Imamate and the doctrine of the Sunnis and the community in it And those who contradict them, the first chapter: Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah's opposition to the evidence of the violators in the necessity of the imamate, and in it he talked about the opposition of Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah to the statements of the violators in the necessity of the imamate without evidence, and his opposition to their narrative and mental evidence in the necessity of the imamate, Chapter Two: The opposition of Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah For the evidence of the violators in the text on the imamate, in it he talked about the statement of the doctrine of the Sunnis and the Jamaa and their opponents in the text on the imamate and the methods of proving it, and his opposition to their transitional and mental evidence in the text on the imams, Chapter Three: Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah's opposition to the evidence of the violators in the infallibility of the Prophets and Imams, in which he spoke about Defining infallibility among the Sunnis and their opponents, and Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah’s opposition to the sayings of the violators regarding the infallibility of the prophets and messengers, and his opposition to the statements of the violators regarding the infallibility of the imams without evidence, and his opposition to his evidence Al-Naqiliyah and Al-Mukliah in the Infallibility of the Imams, Chapter Four: Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah's opposition to the evidence of the violators in the Imamate of the Rightly Guided Caliphs, in which he talked about the sayings of the Sunnis and their opponents in the Imamate of the Rightly Guided Caliphs, and Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah's opposition to the sayings of those who disagreed with it, and the researcher reached a number of results , one of the importants:
- That the Imamate, according to the Shiites, is a fundamental pillar upon which to enter and exit Islam.
- Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah agreed with the approach of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'a in opposing the evidence of the violators with knowledge, fairness and good explanation
The disobedience of the Sunnis in the imamate was affected by the perceptions and innovations of those who violated the previous religions.
From the above, the researcher recommends the following:
1- Examining the opposition to the evidence of the violators of the Sunnis in matters related to the Companions - may God be pleased with them.
2- Collecting suspicions of violators in the various branches of Sharia and conducting scientific studies for them |
