Abstract : In this Research, I followed the inductive and analytical-critical approach of the texts of the most famous Islam-affiliated theologians and philosophers, some Eastern Sufi philosophers, as well as some Western philosophers in three ages (Greek Age, Middle Age, and Modern Age). It included an introduction, a preface, four chapters, a conclusion, and indexes. Introduction: It includes the research problem, its objectives, importance of the topic, the reasons for choosing such topic, the study hypotheses, the research methodology, delimitations, and structure. Preface: It includes introduction to Ahl al-Sunnah wal Jama`ah, theology, theologians, philosophers, and Sufis. Chapter One: Prophethood according to the theologians, and it includes five themes: Theme One, definition of Prophet and Messenger linguistically and idiomatically. Theme Two: Prophethood of women, Theme Three, ruling on sending messengers, Theme Four: infallibility of the prophets. Theme Five: Evidence of prophethood. Chapter Two: Prophethood according to the most famous Islam-affiliated philosophers, and it includes five themes: Theme One: concept of prophethood and revelation. Theme Two: reality of prophethood according to such philosophers. Theme Three: ruling on sending messengers, Theme Four: infallibility and the attributes of the prophets, Theme Five: paths of proof of prophethood. Chapter Three: Prophethood according to the Sufis, and it includes three themes: Theme One: concept of prophethood and revelation, Theme Two: relationship between prophethood and guardianship, Theme Three: paths of proof of prophethood, Chapter Four: Prophethood among the opposers who do not belong to Islam, and it includes three themes: Theme One: prophethood among the most famous Greek philosophers, Theme Two: prophethood among the most famous medieval philosophers, Theme Three: concept of revelation among the most famous Modern-Age philosophers. Finally, the conclusion, in which I illustrated the most prominent findings and recommendations, including for example the origin of conflict between many sects in matters of prophethood which was because of their negligence in what the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, brought, and that thoughts of the Islam-affiliated philosophical schools in the same chapter has been built on ancient philosophical principles and mental sophistries. I have recommended the study of some themes, the most important of which is the impact of positive religions on Sufi philosophers, and other studies
