The Study Objectives: This study tackled the preferences of the Al-Mutahhar Al-Dhamadi (1048 AH) in his commentary, AL-FURAT AN-NAMIYR FI TAFSIR AL-KITAB AL-MUNIR, a grammatical, morphological and semantic study, as I explained Al-Dhamadi Preferences which he refused, and the ones he accepted, and clarified its condition after comparing them with the preferences of the commentators.
Then I showed the formates and methods adopted by Al-Mutahhar Al-Dhamadi when weighing between the opinions. The study came in four chapters, preceded by an introduction and a preface. The Study Approach: In developing this Study, I relied upon the descriptive approach, which adopts analysis as a tool for it. The Most Important Findings of the Study: that the commentary of Al-Dhamadi is added to the commentaries that further elaborated Al-Zamakhshari's commentary, AL-KASHSHAF, and summarized it, since Al-Dhamadi commentary is hardly devoid of pages that do not refer to Al-Zamakhshari. The Most Important Recommendations: I recommend every researcher who wishes to research this commentary to complete the semantic preferences of Al-Dhamadi, which are related to the context and the general meaning of the verse, because it contains a rich material. I also recommended to conduct a study on how Al-Dhamadi was influenced in his commentary by Al-Zamakhshari's commentary, AL-KASHSHAF, so that the study would be a comparison, discussion and analysis between the two commentaries.
