Abstract : This study aims to identify the verbal and stylistic collocations used in Surat Al-Imran, and analyze them according to scientific methodology. The goal is indicating the extent of collocations’ agreement with or deviation from grammarians’ rules. Further, the study attempts to indicate the effect of verbal clues (cohesion, ranking and linkage) on the consistency of those collocations. This study includes: A Preface, an Introduction, and Three Chapters followed by a Conclusion: Preface: The importance of the subject, reasons of its choice and the research’s methodology. Introduction: Concepts, types, and forms of collocations. Chapter One: The study of cohesion Chapter Two: The study of ranking Chapter Three: The study of linkage This study used the descriptive analytical approach represented in identifying the structural collocations (verbs, styles) mentioned in Surat Al-Imran. It describes and analyzes these collocations showing the consistency and importance of verbal clues: (coherence ranking and linkage). The study uses the appropriate statistical approach in the field and other tools in research points that needed to be measured. The Conclusion: The research concluded that textual consistency was achieved in verbal clues (cohesion ranking, and linkage); as tools contributing to achieving the overall unity of the text. This is due to the interdependence of the units’ composition, their cohesion, determining their location, and eliminating any ambiguity. Cohesion was the most effective verbal evidence in achieving textual consistency due to the multiplicity of its types, namely (specialization, deficiency, omission, and elision). Keywords: text grammar, text coherence, verbal clues, sentence grammar, Arabic language.
