The problem of the study lies in the lack of understanding of the means of arbitration and mediation as alternative means of resolving disputes in their general concept and in intellectual property disputes in particular, which involves a set of important legal, and judicial provisions, where through a comprehensive scientific study the clarification of the types of intellectual property and the nature of disputes related to it has been made. , and the definition of arbitration and mediation and their provisions. The main question of the study was: What are the two means of arbitration and mediation in intellectual property disputes and the mechanism of their application in the light of Islamic jurisprudence and the law and what is the role of the WIPO Center in examining intellectual property disputes? The study aimed to demonstrate Jurisprudence and legal rooting, thereto. The approach followed: is the descriptive, comparative, applied approach, and the thesis included an introduction, three chapters, and a conclusion, which included the most important results: that due to the development of intellectual property issues and related disputes, the means for resolving these disputes vary, and that arbitration and mediation in intellectual property disputes are two alternative means of resolving disputes that include an agreement between two or more parties to refer to a dispute related to one of the issues of intellectual property, the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center offers alternative solutions and means of resolving disputes related to intellectual property, for each of the arbitration and mediation. The most important recommendations of the study were: the need to provide specialized training and education and increase the legal culture in relation to arbitration and mediation in the field of intellectual property, and the development of academic curricula to enhance understanding of Islamic law and its application in resolving disputes related to intellectual property, and the need to activate and strengthen cooperation between organizations concerned with intellectual property rights, especially cooperation between the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property and World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
