وحدة الخدمات البحثية
التعريف بالوحدة
:
في إطار الاهتمام والرعاية بطلاب وطالبات الدراسات العليا
بالجامعة
، تهدف عمادة الدراسات العليا إلى تقديم خدمات استشارية وبحثية لطلبة الدراسات
العليا بالوحدة ،و توفر الوحدة مجموعة من الخدمات
البحثية المساندة للطلاب مثل تطوير المهارات البحثية و مهارات كتابة الرسائل و
البحوث العلمية ، وتنمية
المهارات في استخدام الحاسب و البرمجيات ذات الصلة بالبحث العلمي، وتحسين مستوى
الأداء اللغوي بالعربية و
بالإنجليزية
، وذلك سينعكس حتماً
على تحسين كفاءة الطلاب البحثية و تنمية قدراتهم في اعداد الخطط البحثية لرسائلهم
العلمية. و تقدم كافة خدمات الوحدة من استشارات و دورات وورش عمل عن طريق أعضاء
هيئة تدريس متخصصين ومتميزين.
أهداف
الوحدة:
-رفع
درجة كفاءة، و
إتقان ، ومهارة الطلاب في إعداد خطط أبحاثهم و رسائلهم العلمية.
-التواصل
مع طلاب الدراسات العليا و العمل على تذليل الصعوبات التي قد تواجههم.
-
إرشاد طلاب الدراسات العليا وتزويدهم بالمطبوعات التي تساهم في تعريفهم باللوائح
والنظم والإجراءات المتبعة بالدراسات العليا.
مهام الوحدة:
-1.
تقديم الاستشارات البحثية لطلاب الدراسات العليا في مجال إعداد
خطط أبحاثهم وحتى إتمام رسائلهم العلمية بإتقان ومهارة من قبل أعضاء هيئة تدريس
متخصصين.
-2مساعدة
الطلاب في مجال التحليل الإحصائي باستخدام الحزم
الإحصائية المتخصصة.
-3مساعدة
الطلاب في التصويب اللغوي للرسائل العلمية وتدقيق
ترجمة المستخلصات للأبحاث والرسائل العلمية.
-4إرشاد
الطلاب بكيفية إعداد
الرسائل العلمية وفق دليل كتابة الرسائل العلمية.
-5التواصل
مع الطلاب و العمل على توثيق الصلة بينهم وبين العمادة.
-6 تلقي
المقترحات
ورفعها لجهات الاختصاص لدراستها.
-7تقديم
بعض الخدمات المكتبية ، مثل
الانترنت و الفاكس والتصوير.

- المتابعة وتحديد أولويات الدورات واللقاءات بوحدة الخدمات البحثية.
- تفعيل دور وحدة الخدمات البحثية.
- المشاركة في الأنشطة والخدمات البحثية المختلفة بالوحدة.
- المشاركة في تطوير برامج الوحدة الالكترونية بالتنسيق مع وحده التقنية بالعمادة.
- اصدار شهادات الدورات للملتحقين بالدورات التي تقدمها وحده الخدمات البحثية
بالعمادة.
- الاشراف على الطلاب اثناء حضور الدورات والاجابة على الاستفسارات.
Unit Definition
Brief Introduction
Within the framework of attention and care made for the
university students of graduate studies, The Deanship of Graduate Studies
intended to provide consultative and research services for the students of
graduate studies in the deanship. This unit aims to provide a range of academic
and supportive services to the students such as the development of research
skills and academic writing, skills in using the computer for scientific
research purposes and the improvement of the linguistic and stylistic level in
Arabic and English. These skills are developed in order to upgrade the students'
efficiency to complete their scientific papers in a perfect manner. The unit
provides advisory services, short courses and workshops relating to all the
skills required for such tasks, through the help of the distinguished faculty
members.
Unit Objectives
· Upgrading the level of
efficiency, accuracy and students' skill in preparing their research plans and
scientific papers.
· Communicating with students
of graduate studies and working hard to overcome the difficulties that they may
encounter.
· Instructing the students of
graduate studies and providing them with relevant publications that contribute
in familiarizing them with the regulations, systems and procedures adopted in
dealing with the students of graduate studies.
Unit Tasks
1- Enriching
the students of graduate studies with advisory services that help them achieve
their research until they finalize their scientific papers in an accurate way,
through the support of the faculty specialized teachers.
2- To help students
in the field of statistical analysis using specialized statistical packages.
3- To help
students in linguistic correction regarding the scientific papers and translate
all the research abstracts and scientific papers.
4- Instructing the
students about how to prepare their scientific papers based on the Guidance
towards Writing the Theses.
5- To communicate
with these students and act to strengthen the link between them and the
deanship.
6- To receive
the students proposals and submit them to the meant authorities for judgment and
evaluation.
Provision of communication and stationery services such as
internet, fax and photocopy.

of proper statistical measures.

entry method for computerized statistical analysis programs.

the research questions and hypothesis.

of study' suitable sample.
9- Arrangement
of the tools of data collection.
10- Adoption of
Scientific methods in collecting the samples in such a manner that to be
representative elements.

The most important international codes to conduct laboratory experiments .
12- Securing
Quality measures and measurement of the rate of trust in the results of the
laboratory experiments.
13- Analysis
and interpretation of laboratory results and establishing the different methods
of their presentation and representation.
14- Reducing
the number of required tests to conduct research using the Factorial Design.
15- Adopting
Modeling and simulating as a quick way to get to the research results and how to
judge them.
16- Enhancing
the basics of writing the scientific papers (Organization of scientific paper,
its divisions and how to be written in a scientific manner).
17- Establishing
the basics of scientific writing to publish a research paper (Organization of
scientific paper, its divisions and how to be written in a scientific manner).
18- Showing
how to conduct Feasibility studies and how to be applied in scientific research
(to compare the research to the market available alternatives).
19- Marketing
for exceptional results attained through scientific research.
20- Teaching
How to formulate a sentence in English and Arabic in a scientific phrasing.
21- Stressing
the Ideal use of punctuation in Arabic and English.
22- Mentioning
the linguistic and spelling errors in Arabic and English.

Research Services Unit and providing guidance to students and visitors to the
unit.
- Follow-up and
setting the priorities of the research services unit sessions and meetings.
- Activating the
role of the Research Services Unit.
-Participate in
the various activities of the Research Services Unit
- developing
electronic unit programs in coordination with the technical unit of the
Deanship.
-Issuing course
certificates for those enrolled in courses provided by the Research Services
Unit at the Deanship.
-Supervising
students while attending courses and answering inquiries.
